Alma Moreno

Alma Moreno

Interview with Karen Davila

Let me begin by thanking you, Alma – for doing God’s work. I believe that your prayers shall not go unheard and sincerely hope that you garner as much support you will need this coming elections. Interviews, regardless how they go, are just one of the many hurdles every hardened candidate must endure. Who is Karen Davila anyway and why should anybody prepare for an interview with her, right?

Alma, I sympathize with you. I am boggled why our countrymen have made a mockery of you and your interview. Like you, I am a person who values honesty above all else, and for certain, a characteristic any person running for public office should embody. People needed to see how thick you are. For me, I think it’s somewhat refreshing to see a candidate interview so raw. Bereft of deception and pretention.

A Celebrity Turned Politician

Our countrymen, in my opinion, are ingrates. You have been a public servant for a very long time. How could most of them forgotten and dismissed all of those years you have toiled from a mere interview? If everybody just paid attention to the many, many things that you have done in service of our country!

In fact, it would be helpful if everybody just took note that neither cluelessness nor being a celebrity is a disqualification from running for higher public office. Just a reminder, there are more celebrities out there running for public office! Aside from looking good and possessing talents, most of them, like yourself, can make people chuckle! What else could they ask for in a leader, Alma? What else???

Foolish Voters

I respect your approach during your (what many considered) infamous interview: To show everybody that focus on reproductive health, marriage equality, and issues of the like should be kept at a minimum. These things shouldn’t have been the highlight of your interview! Karen’s intentions to alienate you was clear and losing composure under all that duress is perfectly understandable.

But worry not! For idiocy in our country is a trait adorned not scorned. Just listen to all that clamor, Alma! Our countrymen would rather make a fool out of you rather than themselves. Considering they are the people who were responsible for electing you to lead a public office. Now let us tell them Alma, who the joke is on who!
